This Privacy Policy explains what information Baseline Sports collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Baseline Sports is a free, account-gated product, so we collect only what we need to operate it.

1. Information we collect

Account information — the email address and password you provide at sign-up, and an optional display name. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and stored as secure hashes; we never see your plaintext password.
Legal attestation — the date and time you confirm you are 21+ and accept these policies. We keep this as a compliance audit record.
Usage data — basic, standard server logs (such as request times and error events) used to keep the Service running and secure.

We do not collect payment information, because Baseline Sports takes no wagers and charges no fees. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.

2. How we use information

to create and secure your account and authenticate you;
to provide the Service — showing published picks and the track record to logged-in users;
to maintain a record of your 21+/Terms acceptance for compliance; and
to operate, debug, and protect the Service against abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. How information is stored and protected

Account data is stored with our infrastructure and authentication provider, which enforces row-level access controls so that you can only read your own account record. We rely on industry-standard encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

4. Service providers

We use third-party infrastructure (including a hosting platform and an authentication and database provider) to run the Service. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments and only as needed to provide their services to us.

5. Data retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete your profile and associated personal data, except where we are required to retain limited records (such as the 21+/Terms acceptance timestamp) for legal or compliance reasons.

6. Your choices and rights

Access and correction — you can update your display name from your account, and you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Deletion — you can request deletion of your account at any time.

7. Cookies

We use only the cookies necessary to keep you logged in and to maintain your session securely. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here.
